The Belleville Art Association Gallery is home to an ever-changing series of exhibitions of members’ work. Monthly theme shows showcase the talents of members of the Belleville Art
Association; weekly open studio sessions are held for members to come and spend a morning painting; fibre artists meet at the Gallery and the location is also rented to artists who want to hold small workshops.
The Belleville Art Association is a social and educational group with a long history in the community. The group is over 50 years old and boasts a membership of more than 100 people. Weekly get-togethers, monthly meetings, a monthly workshop, the opportunity to hang work in the Gallery and other community spaces are all included in the membership fee. Members can also participate in workshops by internationally recognized artists, participate in bus trips and enter the annually juried show.
