Old Hastings Gallery

Lillian Oakley Pattison was born in Orillia, Ontario and has combined painting, music and creating successful retail gallery spaces for the past 30 years. Before her present location in Ormsby at The Old Hastings Gallery, she owned and operated The Wilno Craft Gallery and before that, The Village Emporium in Whitney.

Self-taught, Lillian paints in many styles including landscape, portrait, still-life and folk art using oils, water colours, acrylics and pen & ink. Lillian is also a talented musician and her voice can be heard on three CD releases featuring the local trio ‘Close Enough’.

The Old Hastings Gallery, owned and operated by Lillian and her husband, musician Gary Pattison, is housed in an 1890s general store in the wee ghost town of Ormsby (population 20) in Eastern Ontario. Besides the gallery space there are many retail theme rooms that feature a wide variety of gift ideas including many Canadian artists and artisans.
